Servant Of Secret Places-My Beloved(Post Rock)

The Danish instrumental post-rock band My Beloved was formed around 1996-1997 in Copenhagen by guitarist Ivar Overgaard, drummer Danny Soendergaard, bassist Zani Talevski and keyboardplayer Lars Kivig.

Their debut-album simply called “The Album” was released in 2000 and includes nine tracks plus a Bonus Live Track recorded in Germany.
One year later in 2001 they released “The Ear” which includes two studio tracks plus 4 live tracks.

Then 2 two years later they released their third album “Servant of Secret Places” which includes 9 full compositions. Servant of Secret Places was noticed in the Danish music-underground and My Beloved, who by then had played at several Festivals and at The Danish Mastership in Rock, got more noticed for their unique soundscape. Sevants of Secret Places are by some considered My Beloved real debut-album.

Because of the instrumental nature of the album My Beloved had a guest singer attending their live shows in 2004. In their shows for the follower album “On Happiness Hill” the style is still instrumental, dark and gothic noiserock, where the beautiful melodic melodies build up slowly or are interrupted by violent noise landscape.

Since their last album “On Happiness Hill” was released in 2005 My Beloved has played several concerts throughout Denmark and Germany. Very Rare item!!Limited Edition,Out of print.
