The Intova Sport 8 is a great all-around digital camera because the design allows for use in almost any condition including the beach, snorkeling, boating and kayaking to the mountains, skiing and rain forests.  Both waterproof (to 30 feet without housing- to 130 feet with included housing) and shockproof (in drops of up to 3 feet), there is almost nothing that this camera can not make it through intact.  The camera features a 2.5" LCD display, 3X optical zoom, Antishake mode, 8.0 megapixel image quality and a rechargeable lithium-ion battery.
