Up for auction is an early oak table top showcase that is 17 1/4" tall, 48" long at the base and 27 5/8" wide at the base. The old case is in great condition for it's age and it looks to have been refinished in recent years with a medium tone oak satin finish. The case has a plate in front that says, GEO. E. ALLISON 313 N MAIN ST ST. LOUIS, MO. The case has two sliding doors in the rear and each has mirrors. The mirrors have normal wear and some silver loss. The case has wavy glass on the front and sides, the glass on top is not wavy and it shows a lot of wear and scratches due to years of use. There is a black felt material inside, it's not original to the piece and can be pulled out if you do not want it in there. The bottom of the showcase under the felt shows wear due to years of use.
