This is an original painting done in artist gouache ,which is an opaque watercolor.I have painted this on 300 pound watercolor paper ,2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches in size.Shipping for this little original will be $4.00 anywhere in the world. I want to take a moment to tell you a little about me.My name is Carla Smale and I live on the west coast of Canada on beautiful Vancouver Island.We are surrounded by wildlife here and I often take my inspiration from my surroundings.I have always had a love of animals and a love of art.Right from childhood I was drawn to paper,paint and all things crafty.While raising my family I put away my brushes for a time and concentrated on the people in my life.My children are now grown and when my husband passed away a few years ago,I returned to my painting and drawing to fill the hours. I have truly found my passion again!It all started with these little art cards and has branched out into larger works and pet portraits.Through the encouragement of the wonderful people that I have met on Ebay, I have begun to concentrate on the pet portrait end of my Ebay work.I still love to craft and make artist bears but not as many of them are born at my house these days. I spend more and more of my free time painting portraits that are sent all over the world. One day I hope to have every day as a painting and crafting day!
