very-hard-to-find 1/43-scale DIECAST 1950’s HENRY J MODEL CAR


This is just one of a few different, original Vintage Diecast Cars and Trucks that I currently have at Auction. Check out my "other auctions" for info on the other ones. Combine Auction "wins" and save on shipping!! . . . . . No reserve on this very-hard-to-find, original Vintage Diecast 1/43-scale early-1950’s Henry J in dark blue. A nicely-detailed model but not sure of the manufacturer or anything else about this car. It has substantial weight to it and the baseplate has the following embossed onto it: 49 HENRY J, ST. L CAR. CO., ONE-8. That’s it, nothing else. Measures approximately 4-inches-in-length. Very nicely-proportioned and both the front and rear look true to the real Henry J. This may have been a short run from some manufacturer or it may have been a one-off. Looks like a ’52 Henry J as it has the outline of a trunk lid on it. Been sitting in a smoke-free Model Car collection/museum for many years. Nice original condition but shows some extremely light edgewear and has a few small paint-chips, as you may be able to see in the photos. No interior and no windows. All four of the original soft rubber tires are in place. An interesting, and unusual, Diecast Model that displays well and makes a very worthy addition to any collection! If you are looking for scarce Vintage American Car Models, then this is for you! Again, not mint and is sold "as-is"; please check out the photos carefully!
