THIS IS A PHOTOGRAPHY DARK ROOM LANTERN, NOT SURE OF ITS AGE, THIS INFORMATION WAS GIVEN BY A FRIENDLY EBAYER THAT KNOWS ABOUT PHOTOGRAPHY EQUIPMENT.  THIS LATERN IS MARKED ON THE LENS DOOR IDEAL NO1..  THERE ARE NO OTHER MARKS ON THIS LANTERN.  IT IS RED IN COLOR, IT IS NOT MARKED WHERE IT WAS MADE. I DON'T KNOW THE AGE.  IT SEEMS TO BE IN WORKING ORDER.  THE WICK DOES GO UP AND DOWN AND APPEARS TO BE ABLE TO HOLD FUEL OK.  PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVE ANY OTHER QUESTIONS.  GOOD LUCK AND THANKS FOR LOOKING.
