DeFlea can even be used on very young puppies and kittens, nursing mothers and when other flea control products are present!

NOTE:   When using on cats, we recommend that the cat be rinsed (especially in the face area) and dried after application.  This will prevent ingestion of large quantities of the product during the kitten’s normal self-grooming process. It is vital for young puppies and kittens to maintain a normal body temperature.  Take precautions to provide a warm environment during and after bathing.

The Science of De Flea

The active ingredients in De Flea products work together to soften the waxy exoskeleton of fleas, ticks, lice, mites and other insects. Once the insect's armor has been penetrated, its internal organs are saturated and the insect quickly bursts. De Flea products work for all stages of an insect's life cycle: eggs, larvae, pupae and adult - effectively eliminating all insects from the home.

Here are some accounts of people who have used this product (paraphrased!)

One had a mama dog with puppies and they all had fleas.  They were able to use this product on her and the 6 week old puppies so when they were sold, they were flea free!

Another had a mama cat with 4 kittens, 2 died from the anemia caused by fleas and they used this on their remaining 2 week old kittens as directed and saved them, safely! 

Fleas suck the blood out of these animals unless you can take care of them.  This is the only product I have found that can be used safely and effectively on young animals.
