The mug reads: “A MOTHER IS THE SWEETEST GIFT OF ALL” along the side so you can read it every time you take a sip. This fine porcelain MUG has a diameter of 3” at the top rim and it proudly stands about 4-1/8”, it is tall, elegant, and feminine. The pattern features charming yellow flowers and associated foliage with a butterfly flying in for a visit. Additionally, the mug is finished with a real gold trim just under the top rolled rim and the handle has a real gold accent as you can see in the photo. The handle has a nice delicate shape and feel. The soft pastel colors create a wonderful contrast against the clean bright white porcelain. The entire mug, inside and out, is finished in a clear, shinny, uniform glaze. The mug has no cracks, crazing, utensil scratches, repairs, or stains. Overall this is a fabulous MUG in MINT, NEW condition. It was never used.
