There are 2 things to remember when using an Oil Lamp: 1) use Paraffin Lamp Oil only; 2) push the wick down so it protrudes just barely over the top edge of the glass tube holder.

This is basically an Oil Lamp Design of a Clear Glass Ball with an opening for a wick insert. This "Glass Ball" is snapped into an acrylic holder of the "Open Book" design. It can be easily removed for other applications or placed back in it.

Buy the units for one of these purposes: use as an Oil Lamp for romantic lighting, or discard the acrylic stand and make craft use of the sphere: paint it, apply stickers, attach a hanger, turn it into an ornament or a small vase. Use your imagination.
