Vintage Palmer 1960's Japan Bass Guitar / Fender pick











For Your Consideration

 I am selling my 1960's vintage Palmer bass guitar. I think this is a pretty cool deco looking guitar with all the chrome plated hardware and the look. The guitar looks to be an all original instrument from the early years of rock n' roll. The guitar appears to have the traditional Fender Headstock and the body looks similar to a Gibson sorta'- kinda' especially where the neck joins the body on the back.The bridge cover is very reminiscent of the early P  Bass or Telecaster Bass Bridge cover Very cool Two Tone Brown burst finish and some natural wood grain effect. The guitar plays amazingly and the neck is very correct and plays with ease. Beautiful fret markers and appear to me to be real pearl inlays.  The condition of the guitar is Very Good although there are the normal amount of scrapes and such mostly to the body area. The side edge of the body near the jack has a small area where that the finish is worn away but other than that the guitar is unscathed.  I believe the fretboard and finger rest to be the real deal of Brazilian Rosewood. The guitar comes with the original hard shell case which is a very nice dark brown with a somewhat hide simulated alligator or something close exterior covering. The interior of the case is a green felt and in great shape. The case has had a couple of handle problems and currently has a nylon strap temporary handle.
