This is the Integy Evolution-3 Silver Aluminum Receiver Box Skid Plate for the Revo 2.5 and 3.3 monster trucks.  This offers excellent protection for the receiver box, preventing damage to the box, as well as your electronics inside.  This is also a great addition to a show truck.
