  • Up for auction is a 1980's or 70's paper and painted collage of musicians and their instruments created by Bert Cote, from Yakima WA. 
  • This collage is signed in pencil B.Cote on the bottom right corner. 
  • I bought this at his "moving to a smaller home" sale.
  • It weighs .6 lb.
  • It measures 30" wide by 22 1/2" tall.
  • It has hand painted blue and white vertical stripes in the upper half background and blue and white horizontal stripes in the lower  foreground.
  • One of the collage figures is Hitler playing a bari-sax in his jockey shorts while standing on a fish, with a small whale looking at him. Please be aware of this piece of artistic expression before you buy this. Also, the bassoonist is skimpily dressed. I put a leaf on her front side.
  • The guy's face playing the bass is Bert Cote, the artist.
  • I'll mail this in a cardboard sleeve.
