Offered from my Collection to Yours, is a very lightly 'Shop' worn Solid 18K IWC Da VINCI Automatic Chronograph Perpetual Calendar / Moon Phase Complication. The Da Vinci has been in my collection since the day I purchased it New in the late 90’s in part to celebrate the entry into a New Millennium and have the Genius of Leonardo Da Vinci do what many modern day computers couldn't do… If this piece has seen more than 10 or 12 hours of on the wrist wear time, it would be a stretch. Thus virtually a "New Watch."
The Da Vinci has spent it's existence in my safe and is shown here without any cleaning or detailing. A very tough test for any watch to be magnified many times with a High Resolution Camera Lens! The Da Vinci comes from the long Respected heritage of High Quality Time pieces built in Schaffhausen Switzerland. This is the watch that can be worn without any issue on the Green andwill be just as 'Appropriate' when you get the call that you are meeting guest at the Country Club for Dinner... For those that are enamored by the Technical and Mechanical Achievements of the Genius of Leonardo Da Vinci, this piece of art will not find itself obsolete do to time and or technology, this is truly an heirloom piece that can honestly be handed down for centuries, Yes Centuries to come! Look at the Wax Sealed Vial; in about 450 years you will need to take that to a Qualified watch maker and have the only real "Scheduled Service" performed.

Why all of the emphasize on “Factory Original” and “One Owner” is that it has been a pretty common practice for some Authorized and Non Authorized dealers as well as watch enthusiasts to perform After Market Non OEM Diamond and ‘other’ material Dials, Bezels, Lugs and so on… The fact that a watch has been owned and cared for by One owner versus five, six or more is a very important element to factor into one's Investment and Purchase. If someone is the 5th or 6th owner down the line, it begs the question, “why”? and if one can answer, the “Why,” what has been done to this watch over that period of time? What kind of wear did it receive from each owner and so on. Very much like the emphasize and Added Value that my local Mercedes Benz dealer places on “One Owner Cars.” The Car and in this case the Da Vinci, Is Known by the Dealer as is it's history. The owner or the dealer can tell you (VERIFY) that it had a service or repair because… and just as important, by Whom! which equates to Investment Protection.
The C.O.S.C and Chronometer Certification: What Is It and What Does It Mean?
A Chronometer is a watch whose movement has passed specific tests verifying it’s timekeeping precision. The Chronometer testing is open to any manufactures who wish to submit movements for testing which is administered in Switzerland. The Title “Chronometer” is an “Earned” one and is not something which watch companies can print on the dial of a watch without having undertaken – and passed – the Official Tests for the Specific movement inside that watch. Be Ware of “Hang Tags.” Now Remember because it has a "Hang Tag" doesn't mean anything. There is One Certification number given only. No Duplicates. So if can't find the COSC number on the case or documentation supporting, treat it as a fake. If you have the number, COSC will tell you what kind of watch the number belongs to only. Ergo, I.W.C, Roles, Brietling, Audamars, Patek etc. Don't get Had. The COSC really does mean something...
