Bulgaria Medal 30 Years Victory Over Fascism '75 Soviet

When people think of the Axis Powers in World War 2 (Great Patriotic War), they tend to think of Fascist Italy, Imperial Japan, and Nazi German. the truth is there were many other members to the Axis that include Thailand, Romania, Albania, Hungary, Finland, and Bulgaria...they just played less a part. Bulgaria was ruled by the right-wing Tsar Boris and his supporters. as the story goes, Bulgaria was only trying to regain land lost in WW1, but siding with the Axis was definitely the wrong way to go. As the Red Army steamrolled through Eastern Europe, there were simultaneous partisan coups in Albania, Italy, Yugoslavia, Czechoslovakia, and Bulgaria that cut off the fascist governments at the knees. this power vacuum gave left-wing groups to pack the parliments and start new socialist republics. This medal is a commemorative piece to mark the 30 year anniversary of the end of Fascist Bulgaria in 1975. It is a great little medal for anti-fascists, socialists, communists, WW2 enthusiasts, and historians.
