OSPREY 2009 - 2010 ATMOS 50 EXTREME INTERNAL FRAME BACKPACK BRAND NEW ALL TAGS AND LIFETIME WARRANTY PLUS: NEW VICTORINOX SWISS ARMY KNIFE
Get Ready Early For Snow Shoe Season The Atmos 50 Is a 1st. Choice Among Snow Shoe Enthusiasts (Including Me)
Not Too Soon To Think Of The Holidays!!
Offered is a No Gimmicks Brand New with All Tags 2009 - 2010 Osprey Atmos 50 Internal Frame Back Pack. Now those that know me, know how much time I spend in my ‘back yard,’ the Lake Tahoe Basin, Desolation Wilderness and many other Back Packer Destinations located in the Lake Tahoe and Yosemite areas. For over 40 plus years I have used just about every piece of gear, as a consumer or Field Tester. Of all the choices that are offered, I have consistently used various Osprey models for Day Trips, extended treks, hauling camera gear and use with High Altitude conditioning of my Field Trial Brittanys.
The Atomos 50 with it’s high capacity storage can handle just about all callings. Since the pack weighs a mere 2 plus pounds, there isn’t any issue using is for Day Hikes, fishing trips etc. The Atmos 50 has not been “Tried Out” by every Tom, Dick, Harry and sticky Handed little kids so, it coming to you as Fresh and clean as you should expect from a New 2009 Back Pack and New for 2009 is the Green Rip Stop. For those Comparing with other Osprey Atmos 50's and all Osprey Models the "AirSpeed" logo is Horizontal and Not Vertical. There are too numerous little improvements over past generations to mention. I have the 50 and will be switching to the 2009 - 2010 model merely because of the Vents on the side that allows for more air to pass between the back and the pack. (and maybe I like the Forest Green and updated pockets and pouches a bit better...)
There is enough data on the internet about the Osprey but the High Points is that it comes with a Life Time Warranty regardless who bought it or owns it. This has been Osprey’s policy since 1974 and will continue indefinitely. A photo showing the Life Time Warranty has been provided for your review.
As you might expect the 2009 - 2010 Atmos 50 has an internal H2O system, which can be run on either or both sides. The One Major Design Feature that the Osprey offers over their competition is the Patent “AirSpeed Mesh” Suspension system that keeps the pack from hugging your back and allowing for ventilation between the pack and your back. Many, have stored their water blatters in this area, which is a Third Choice.
You will find enough Pockets and places in which to store accessible things like GPS’s , glasses, knives, first aid kits and the like. And enough tie offs for trekking poles, snow axes and so on. You think about it and Osprey will more than likely have incorporated it in your pack.
Fabrics:: 70D by 100D Shadow check, 160 by 210 Window Rip stop. Storage Capacity 3000 Cubic Inches (Plenty for Extended Treks...
And a Few Thoughts: If your a Back Packer, you know to Carry Out your Waste. How would like to put "Your" stuff in someone else's Used Pack that carried out Their Waste, Dirty Socks, The Fish they caught two days ago... And one Hot Hike and those Padded Shoulder, Hip and Back Straps and Supports make for Great Sweat Sponges, Someone Else's Sweat... Enough? Go NEW!
Please Examine the Ultra Tight Close Up Photos in that this is the Actual Pack and not a Stock Photo. Do examine the photos closely and should you have any questions, do ask. The Retail Price of the Osprey Atmos 50 runs from $225.98 to $279.00. The Victorinox Swiss Army Knife is a $40.00 - $50.00 Value, it's Brand New, "A" Stock.
Please Take Notice: I don't give you just a Stock or One out of Focus Photo... I try to give you enough wherein you can make a Comfortable decision as to what it is your bargaining for. That takes time, shows I care and costs a whole lot more money.
