D-snap SD Digital Video Camera
The SV-AV100 is an advanced video camera that is also incredibly small, in fact it's only slightly larger than a credit card. It records moving pictures in either MPEG2 for high quality or MPEG4 for video mail. Also records still images as JPEGs which are ideal for storing and editing.
You can use it as a digital video camera, or a digital still camera. It's the D-snap SD video camera, which uses small SD memory cards and adds incredible versatility to the way you enjoy AV files. The D-snap SD video camera means total mobility. It makes it easy to enjoy images and sound just about anytime you want, almost anywhere you go.
Features:
- The SV-AV100 can record MPEG4 moving images and still images, suitable for posting on web pages or attaching to e-mail. With the supplied 512MB card in super fine mode, it can hold approximately 1 hour of MPEG4 video or about 3520 JPEG images in fine mode.
- MPEG: Motion Pictures Experts Group: A compression technology that is PC comparable and provides video quality. MPEG compression is widley used in digital satellite broadcasting. Easy editiing with the supplied software.
- Super Image Stabilizer (S.I.S.): This advanced technology helps prevent the jitter that can result from hand movements made while shooting. With technology like this on your side, you won't have to worry about losing great video because of the jitters.
- Thumbnail Display: Scenes from both moving images and still images are displayed as thumbnails, making it easy to find the file you're looking for, or to delete scenes you don't want. And you don't have to worry about accidental overwriting. You can edit images right on the spot.
- LCD Monitor: The tiny camera features a 2.5-inch diagonal LCD monitor that rotates a full 130 degrees, giving you more shooting flexibility. The rotating screen also makes it much easier to include yourself in the scene.
10x optical zoom for dynamic shooting. DPOF: Digital Print Order Format: Setting printing data (picture mode), such as the number of images to be printed, can be written to the memory card.
- Digital Camcorder: Capture MPEG4 full motion or MPEG2 full motion digital video, and store them onto the SD Memory Card.
- Digital Still Mode: You can take digital stills and email them.
