Specializing in my own FINE ART, of which the images at the top and bottom of this auction are samples. I have been a portrait painter in pastel and oil since 1989, for 20 years.
Miscellaneous items will be added occasionally on behalf of St. Francis Gift & Thrift Store, where I am a research volunteer.

I made three small braids in her hair, sewn with beads that accent her dress colors.
In the photos, I have shown her with my Bleuette doll, Kish Riley, and Ellowyne Wilde
I painted each doll, except for Bleuette. My Bleuette was created by Damaris (eBay name = leojillalves) with glass eyes.

Kish's Seasons Summer Doll as OOAK "Milly"
Doll Repaint #36 by Nancy Lee Moran, portrait painter since 1989 (In addition to the 36, I have painted 26 doll commissions.)
The doll has her original box, all her original clothing, her custom-made clothing, new undies and shoes, Kish certificate and my own photo-certificate, as well as the photos shown here (size 4x6 inches).
While all my dolls have the same time and care in the painting, the Buy-It-Now prices varies, depending upon the prices of the wig and clothing. This doll was pre-owned, looking for a new home on eBay. Please understand that I am purchasing dolls, clothing, and wigs at retail prices, just as you would. I am a portrait artist, not a doll distributor, dealer, or shop.
HER NAME: In English, the name Milly means mild of strength.
Her eyes are like cafe au lait. Her eyes are are a bit "Impressionistic," with flecks of color. She has many very-fine eyelashes (upper & lower) and feathered eyebrows using varied colors.
WIG: Her wig is the original one, washed, braided and decorated by Nancy.
NEW CLOTHING + Original clothes: I like to keep dolls together with their original clothing. I purchased NEW undies and shoes for her.
Chiditta (eBay name) made the new heirloom-quality dress.
HER NEW CUSTOM CLOTHING by designer CHIDITTA:
Sweet flower print has teal and green on an off white background, top-quality quilting cotton.
Full puffy sleeves are enhanced with ANTIQUE lace.
Bodice is self lined.
Dress fastens in the back with concealed snaps.
There are no exposed seams.
All hems are hand stitched.
Green ribbon sash matches the hair accessory offered.
This dress will also fit the following 16” Kish girls:
Amalia & Tia (Ballerinas) Alice (in Wonderland) Daphne Emma Jo Kathy Naomi Rachel Snow White
The four 1996 “Sunday Best” girls: MacKenzie Margot Meredith Molly
Two of the 1997 “Famous Painters” series: Rose Sara

Color and Painting
Some computer screens may modify the color of the art. Some may make the image lighter or darker than it is. The doll will have finer detail and more subtle coloring than a computer-jpeg-photo shows. Yet I hope the photos tell her story as well as words.
I paint each doll face as delicately as I do my commissioned portraits of children. You may see examples at my website, if you GOOGLE my name, which will reassure you of my credentials in fine art since 1989. The website also has new pages of repainted dolls. I am using artist-grade alkyd-oil paints (in thin translucent glazes) with the addition of alkyd resin to make the paint surface become as flexible as the doll’s vinyl skin and to make it adhere well.
The dolls I use were factory painted. I would never repaint a doll that the artist (Helen Kish) had painted herself, such as some of those in the Kish Signature Line. I would not paint one in a limited edition of fewer than 300 (preferably 500 or more). I consult the beautiful book I own: Helen Kish: The Artist and Her Dolls by Louise Fecher (hardcover published in 2006). I am NOT affiliated with any doll company, creator or manufacturer.
Just as artists of reborn baby dolls do, I used a blush of shadow-colors in creases, dimples, and concave areas of the face, arms, hands, chest and rounded tummy. (The doll is too modest to show her body-blushing on eBay).
Variations of the cheek color are on the nose and chin, at the skin-corners of the lips, at inner corners of the eyes, along the inner edge of eyelids, in the nostrils, in the collar bone crevice, on the inner fingertips, inside the ears and on earlobes.
None of my oil pigments use lead or cadmium. While I painted this doll only for adult collectors, I wanted the paint to be safe around toddlers and babies.
Studio: clean and smoke-free
VINYL BODY She has five (5) points of articulation (joints), at her neck, shoulders, and hips. She can stand by herself. She can sit, too, with straight legs. Her interior "stringing" is neither too loose nor too tight ~ it is just right.
FINISH:
Resin glow (gloss) on eyes and satin gloss on lips
A thin veil of clear matte (non-shiny) varnish is on rest of her face.
BOX, Certificate, Doll Company:
She has her certificate and box. I hope you won't store your dolls in the original cardboard boxes. Cardboard is an inexpensive paper product that is acidic. If you do store your dolls in original boxes, wrap each doll first in a clean white cotton pillowcase to protect it. Seasons Dolls were designed by Helen Kish and produced by White Balloon International Doll Company of Valencia in Spain. A shipper box showed that they were distributed in the USA by Paradise Galleries. These Seasons dolls were produced in 2003 (date on certificate) and are RETIRED.
KISH MARKS: There is an impressed mark on the back of her head near the neck: 1997 Kish and Company 97F. I signed my name there, too.

Doll and Portrait commissions are welcome.
I will be limiting the number of dolls I paint, since gallery oil paintings and portrait commissions take most of my time. I will continue to paint some dolls, however, for the happiness it brings to me.
I usually go on-line twice a day, since I must devote most time to family and paintings.
I request, therefore, your patience in my answering questions on-line.
Caution: Prolonged sunlight and fluorescent lights may cause colors to fade.
Heat, high humidity, and dampness will also damage dolls. Cardboard has acid content, which means that a doll box is less-than-good for storing a doll. If you store your doll in the box, please wrap her in clean white cotton fabric first.
Payment within one week is requested. I ship in one to three days.
Your information will remain secure and private.

COMBINED shipping is fine on multiple purchases. All work is guaranteed for quality. If item is returned within one week, I will
refund the purchase price. The buyer will please pay shipping cost (with
