Id'd 6th Plate Daguerreotype Frances Marion Old Man

Here is a great old antique daguerreotype photo from the 1850's of a very old man with piercing blue eyes. He is Id'd in pencil behind the case as "Frances Marion (or Marions) great grandfather of Jacob Kimble" There is some spotting from age on the dag plate, but I know they can be cleaned by a professional and made to look like new. If this were to be cleaned it would be an outstanding photo. There are no scratches to the plate. This photo comes in a full case that has a detatched spine. The case is in pretty bad shape, missing the velvet pad (which can be replaced) and one of the edges is also missing at the top.  This photo will ship for FREE!

I WILL SHIP WORLDWIDE, but please be aware that USPS has changed their pricing policies and anything over 13 ounces has to be shipped priority and is expensive. Buy it Now Offers: I usually don't end an auction early unless it has been on a while and there are no bids, or very few watchers. It seems that everytime I list items I have a few buy it now offers, so..... if you want to send me a buy it now offer please have a price in mind and don't ask me "what do you want for the item?" Also, if you are going to offer a buy it now price, make it worth my time. Don't offer me $25 for something worth $125.

I try to treat my buyers the way I want to be treated when I buy on ebay. I have never had an item that I sold returned to me and only once have I had an item lost in the mail.
