Although this is an older Model Bike it is STILL the 'Cadillac' of Exercise Bikes, works smoothly and is very Comfortable to ride with DeLuxe seat and Pedals. I have Not Tried the Electric Timer ? but the Mechanical Gauge Works Perfectly and overall the bike is wonderful. This bike works on the Progressive Resistance Principle--the harder you pedal--the more resistance you feel.
