Vintage Movie Star Bias Cut Gown

Era 1930's

Here is a buttery beauty from the 1930's. Very rare to find such a number in a larger size. This is Garbo and Harlow in their hayday. Peachy, silky rayon cut on the bias with ecru lace at the bust and back and 3 rows of vertical stitching at the center of bust. Rayon ribbons are attached at the side seams to snug this up to your figure as much or as little as you like. Lingerie from this period always leaves me breathless, so romantic and so glamorous. This gown is in fabulous condition with very few flaws- some very light staining on the front. One area about the size of a quarter and a bit of a dripped stain above that. They are only obvious on close inspection and I could not capture it in the photographs.The rayon is a super soft, silky fabric, the lace is soft and elegant.
