FOR SALE IS THE ABOVE PICTURED SHAEFFER'S DESK SET.  THE BASE IS MARBLE AND IN BLACK, BROWN AND GRAY COLORS WITH A BLACK AND GOLD PEN HOLDER.  THE SHAEFFER PEN MAY OR MAY NOT BE A MATCH TO THE SET, AS IT HAS A SILVER NIB THAT HAS SHAEFFER'S, U.S.A. PRINTED ON IT, AND SHAEFFER'S IS ALSO PRINTED ON THE PEN, ALONG WITH MADE IN U.S.A.  THE PEN UNSCREWS AND HOLDS A CARTRIDGE THAT APPEARS TO BE ABLE TO BE REFILLED AS IT SAYS 'DROP INTO BARREL, YELLOW END UP'.  IT ALSO HAS CLEAN PLASTIC SLOTS THAT ALLOW YOU TO SEE THE INK LEVEL IN THE PEN.  THE PEN MEASURES ALMOST 7" LONG AND THE BASE IS 5" BY 3 1/2".  SORRY THAT I DO NOT KNOW MORE ABOUT THEM AS I DON'T COLLECT THEM AND HAVE NEVER USED THEM.
