This is a rare - at least in the United States - resin model kit of a character from the anime series Galaxy Fraulein Yuna, which debuted in Japan in 1992. Kaiyodo licensed the characters from this popular anime series and produced a series of resin model kits. PDM imported these kits and never sold them. A couple of kits from the series were offered for sale, but the majority were never offered.

The history behind this television series (which spawned a number of sequels and computer games) is told on Wikpedia among other places. Kaiyodo now makes plastic toy versions of the characters. Later today, I will photograph the box art, the kit and the instructions for the kit. The casting is very well done, and the scale is 1/8.
