Up for auction is a NEW candlewicking/embroidery Christmas Stocking kit from Paragon Needlecraft. This Christmas Collection kit is approximately 14 ½ inches when complete. There is no date on this unopened kit, but it looks like it’s from the 70’s.

“Paragon Candlewick-plus ‘Noel’ stocking Paragon has taken the Colonial craft of Candlewicking (Colonial knots) and combined it with quilting and other stitches and threads to create interest and texture. The newly revived craft was originally worked with threads unraveled from the wicks of candles.”

This kit contains: stamped 100% cotton muslin for top and backings – 100% polyester batting – 100% cotton candlewick thread and embroidery floss – gold thread and braid – needles – ribbon – complete instructions with diagrams.
