Antique Dental Tooth Key I am not a collector or expert in antique medical items. I bought this awhile back for display and I like its looks. This is what I know about this antique device. A Tooth key is a device for extracting a tooth. They were used from the early 1700's up late 1800's. This key is unmarked or I cannot find any markings. The total length is 5 13/16". The handle is wood and I think it's rosewood. The metal extension or instrument is steel or maybe iron? At the end is claw with 4 teeth and there is a platform with 4 holes. The key does work and there are no damages. There is some wear on the metal instrument due to age and use. I hope the pics are helpful and clear. Please email any questions. Thanks. Paypal accepted. Shipping is through USPS. Domestic shipping cost is $4.00 and includes confirmation. I do ship overseas. Please read the return policy section. Thanks. |
