Craftsman 42" Lawn Tractor Snow Blade Model # 486.24443

For Sale here is a Craftsman 42 Inch lawn mower snow plow used to clear snow from driveways and sidewalks, model number 486.24443. 

This blade attachment should fit most late model Craftsman riding lawnmowers and was taken off of a 2006 LT Series (Lawn Tractor Series) riding lawn mower.  If you are unsure please check with your local Craftsman dealer to ensure mower compatibility before bidding.

This snow blade is in very good condition and has only a few very minor scratches from wear.  The unit comes with all nuts, bolts, pins and alike needed for attachment and operation as well as an operators and maintenance manual.  This item is nearly fully assembled as shown which will save you the headache of figuring out how to put this thing together from the diagrams for the most part.  This item easily disassembles and can be transported in a standard sized car truck without an issue.  I will note however that whoever mounted this attachment originally came very close to stripping some of the attachment bolts.  I am recommending that the winner of this item take a few minutes to go to the hardware store and replace a few of the bolts that attach this unit to your mower's frame to avoid future problems.  I do not see any damage to the blade, lifting mechanism or spring assemblies everything except the actual mounting bolts look just about perfect.  The long handle that you see in the pictures is used to angle the plow attachment as well as lift and lower the blade for plowing.  The handle can be reached from your lawn mower's driver's seat.

I am selling this unit only because it came with a tractor that I bought recently and I have no use for the attachment.  The blade appears to have been used minimally and is in great condition.  This item is for sale for local pickup only.  I am willing to bring this unit to work with me and it can be picked up from Franklin, Taunton or Gloucester, MA as well as Middletown, RI with prior notice.  I am also not so willing to deliver this piece within 40 miles of Franklin, MA for an additional  $200 delivery fee (yes I would rather you picked it up but someone always asks).
