This auction is for a WONDERFUL & RARE Antique Vegetable Ivory Needle book case and either needle box or thimble case, I am not sure.  These items are from the estate of one of the foremost collectors in the United States of antique needleart early tools and needlework and laces.  I will be listing books from her collection in the near future so please bookmark my site.  the little needle book is wonderful, sewn together with black thread, it measures  apx 1 1/2" X 2 1/4" and the case measurs right at 2" tall,  please see pics , there is part of the screwing part on lid missing, but does not affect display, just have to be careful handling so the lid doesn't fall off.  Email with questions, buyer pays s/h/i/   Provenance provided to the lucky winner.
