NOTE: These backpacks are not to be compared to higher end 'professional' hiking/camping gear which is used by more experienced 'mountain climbing' or long term advanced hiking experts, that often sell for $100.00 plus. They are good for daily or overnight trips or to be used on vacations as a travel or hiking bag or by youth at summer day camps etc. They are durable and sturdy and will last a long time with proper care. They do not have a full heavy duty frame as many higher end professional packs. The two metal posts are sewn in to the rear of the pack, on left and right,  and give strength and rigidness. A good backpack and buy for the price !!
