You are bidding on one antique German paperback pamphlet, "Werther's Leiden" by Wolfgang von Goethe, also known as "Leiden des jungen Werther's". This pamphlet is one of a series, the Reclam Universal-Bibliothek, printed in Leipzig, Germany around 1870. The text is printed in Fraktur, the old-German type face. The pamphlet series is still being printed today, see http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reclams_Universal-Bibliothek.

This pamphlet is in fair condition, several pages have torn corners, the binding is split so that the pamphlet is in two parts, but the front and back are intact. There are several hand-written pencil annotations on the first 15 or so pages.
