Minolta A200 owners:  I have sold many of my eyepieces to owners of the A200. It does not fit quite as well on the A200 as it does on other Minolta camera models -- the A200 viewfinder is short and does not have much of a lip for the Eyepiece to hold on to. Some of my customers use a thin black nylon tie (which I include) to tighten the Eyepiece onto their camera, but it is not generally necessary.

A true story:    My neighbor, an artist and photographer, has a Minolta Dimage that he loves.  He saw my Eyepiece on my Olympus camera, and immediately wanted to try it on his camera.   It fits great.  "I want one," he said.  "This is just what I need -- it's perfect.  How much is it... I have glasses, and I consider the Eyepiece to be essential. By eliminating stray light coming in around the viewfinder, the viewfinder appears more clear and bright, and focusing is much easier.  It acts as a rear eye hood to reduce the light entering from the back of the camera.   The digital camera that I use is the Olympus C-2100 UZ -- very similar to the layout of the Minolta Dimage, with the Electronic View Finder (EVF).  I use this Eyepiece because it is comfortable, and it makes looking into the viewfinder sharper, brighter, and more clear.  An excellent product, whether or not you have eyeglasses.
A brighter viewfinder means that it's easier to take the picture !

              
The Rubber Eyepiece does not interfere with the automatic switching between the LCD and the viewfinder.
The camera works just the way it did without the Eyepiece, only better.
