MONOGRAM LARGE LEMANS ROAD RACING BOX W/FOAM INSERT!
This auction is for the very, very large box and foam insert from a 1/32 Monogram LeMans road racing set. This is the large set box that everybody saw as a kid sitting on the hobbyshop shelf. I know I did and wanted this set so bad. I was going to frame and matte the box front for the basement wall but that plan has changed obviously.

The front of the box and picture is excellent. The corners were taped with nylon reinforced tape which is fraying and coming off. The right person could carefully remove the tape and restore this thing to make a really nice display piece for their collection.The foam is in pretty good shape and has all the places for the controllers, powerpack, pylons, etc.

Monogram made a small LeMans set box as well, but this is the "Big Kahuna" of display boxes. Shipping box will be big! 

Collectible box aside, it would still make a great picture, double matted in colors taken directly from the picture and then framed. Hang it in your family or rec room. You're guaranteed to get alot of nice compliments. Sigh!!!!!!!!!!!!
