VINTAGE PORCELAIN/POTTERY TABLE LAMP MID '60s-EARLY '70

THIS BEAUTIFUL FRONT TO BACK SWEEPING DESIGN BY THE "MARVEL" LAMP COMPANY (stamped on back) WAS PURCHASED NEW IN 1974 FOR $75.00 (as a wedding present) AND THEN PUT AWAY IN STORAGE FOR ALL THESE YEARS. THE INFORMATION I WAS GIVEN ABOUT THE "MARVEL" LAMP COMPANY SAID THAT THIS MODEL LAMP COULD HAVE BEEN MADE IN THE MID 1960'S UP UNTIL THE EARLY 1970'S IN A LIMITED NUMBER, SO I CAN'T HONESTLY SAY WHAT YEAR IT WAS MADE. IT HAS NEVER BEEN USED, SO THERE ARE NO CHIPS, CRACKS, DISCOLORATION, WEAR MARKS, OR OTHER DAMAGE. THE LAMP IS 18" TALL, 12" WIDE, 5" DEEP, AND COMES WITH A 12" LAMP-HARP, MAKING THE OVERALL HEIGHT 28". I DID PLUG IT IN, AND IT WORKS PERFECTLY, BUT THE CORD IS A LITTLE STIFF & DRY FROM YEARS OF STORAGE, SO YOU MIGHT WANT TO UPGRADE THE WIRING, BUT IT ISN'T MANDATORY.
