A UNIQUE, ANTIQUE ROLLTOP DESK.

 

THIS IS A NEWLY RESTORED, GOLDEN OAK ROLLTOP DESK WITH A UNIQUE INLAID MAHOGANY WRITING SURFACE. THE DESK IS 48" WIDE, 30" DEEP, AND 46" HIGH. THE HARDWARE IS ORIGINAL, AND DATED 1934. THE LOCKABLE TAMBOUR IS A LAP JOINT DESIGN INDICATING QUALITY CONSTRUCTION. THE DRAWERS ARE DOVETAILED AND OPERATE FREELY, AS DOES THE TAMBOUR. THIS DESK IS FINISHED ON ALL FOUR SIDES.

THIS IS NOT A VENEERED REPRODUCTION. IT IS A SOLID OAK ROLLTOP DESK IN A BEAUTIFULY RESTORED CONDITION.
