You’re invited to bid on this New, Weird-Ohs “Beach Bunny” Model Kit.
Description: This is a new model kit from Testors. The series is called Weird-Ohs. For those old enough to remember, this goofy series of plastic models was weirdly popular in the 1960’s. The various characters were everywhere . . . lunch boxes, t-shirts, bubble gum cards, etc. It was a huge 60’s fad! This classic character is called Beach Bunny, No. 751. Per the box:
“She’s queen of the waves. She knows no fear. If you’re lookin’ for good times, better start right here.”
The entire model is molded in styrene plastic. It’s unpainted & requires assembly. I’m not entirely sure how old the kit is. The side of the box is marked:
© 1994 The Testor Corp.
Rockford, IL 61104
An RPM Company
I believe the original 1960’s manufacturer was Hawk. As far as I can remember, back then Testors only produced assembly supplies, like paint & glue. At some point Testors began selling the kits as well. This kit is a re-issue of the original. The skill level is 2 (ages 8 & up).
Quantity: 1
Dimensions: The box is 14” x 6” x 2” (L x W x T).
Weight: 14 oz.
Vintage: 1994
Condition: The kit is 100% complete. The box is still sealed in its original cellophane wrapper. The box is perfect, so it’s clear that the contents are perfect & intact as well. Instructions are included within the box.

AUCTION POLICIES also known as the f i n e p r i n t . . . . .
By placing a bid on the above item, you are agreeing to all the terms and conditions listed below.
LISTING INFORMATION I always endeavor to describe and illustrate an item to the best of my ability. This is every seller's responsibility. The item you see in the photo(s) is exactly what you will receive, as described in the listing. On the other hand, it is every buyer's responsibility to ask the questions. Never assume anything. If after reviewing ALL the information provided, you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me. Remember . . . . an accepted bid constitutes a final sale. Consequently, all sales are final. So please ask your questions early and bid responsibly.
BIDDING TIPS I deal primarily in unique, family and found items. Every item is thoroughly inspected and researched. Typically, I’ll list an item twice in consecutive auctions. The initial listing will reflect an even numbered, starting bid. When ever an item is listed a second time, eBay’s re-listing fee is added to the starting bid. If an item does not sell after the second auction has ended, I return it to inventory and it goes to the back of the line. Ultimately, most (unsold) items will be listed again; but it might be months before my inventory has fully recycled. Therefore, it’s always to your advantage, to bid on an item during its initial offering. Of course . . . . this is just a suggestion.
COMMUNICATION Contact between eBay members is fundamental. Unfortunately, eBay’s email system is unreliable & difficult to use. To guarantee a response, I suggest that you include an alternate email address with your message. I check my email several times a day & promise to respond to all questions within 24 hours. Remember to ask your questions early, so I can reply before the auction ends. Also, if you have any payment questions or shipping preferences, you should email me before or immediately after the auction has ended. I ask this as a simple courtesy.
PAYMENT Online payments are preferred through Paypal. I will send an invoice to the winning bidder, within 12 hours of the auction’s conclusion. Payment is due within 5 days of the auctions conclusion. We’re all expected to play by the rules. If you choose to renege on your commitment, I will immediately file a Non-Paying Bidder Complaint with ebay. The item will then be re-listed and negative feedback will submitted on your behalf. An Unpaid Item Strike will adversely affect your feedback score & hinder your ability to buy & sell on ebay. For this reason, it is to your advantage to bid responsibly & remit payment promptly. Of course, honesty is the best policy. If you have payment issues or questions, email me & we’ll work on an agreeable resolution. Sorry, NO personal checks will be accepted. Obviously, an instant or rapid payment, results in a quicker turn around. Items are shipped per the payment date & NOT the day the auction concluded. International buyers welcome per the shipping proviso below.
SHIPPING Domestic Shipping: Within the Continental United States, I prefer to ship via the U.S. Postal Service. For larger items, I can ship via United Parcel Service or FedEx. The size and weight of the item will determine which service I use. If the purchaser has a shipping preference, they should contact me immediately before or after the auction has ended. I will gladly combine shipping if more than one item is purchased consecutively. The purchaser is responsible for ALL shipping & handling charges. Insurance is required for all items. I will typically add $3 - $5 per parcel, for handling (possibly more, depending on the size of the item). This nominal (handling) charge simply helps to defray the cost of packing materials, my time and effort. I can normally ship within 3 - 5 business days of receipt / confirmation of payment. Once an item leaves my hands, after your payment is confirmed, shipping time is out of my control. As you know, the U.S. Postal Service is notoriously slow, so please don’t email me until the estimated shipping time has lapsed. (Note: Choosing Priority Mail will reduce shipping time by several days. Parcel Post can take up to 15 business days.) International Shipping: For smaller items, less than 12 ounces (shipping weight), I may consider Priority Mail International. International buyers must contact me prior to submitting a bid, to confirm that I offer shipping to their location. Also, I’d be more than happy to allow an international buyer to bid on any item, provided they can provide a U.S. mailing address.
FEEDBACK is the benchmark by which all ebay users are judged If you are happy with your purchase after you receive it, please submit a positive feedback for me on eBay. Once I receive yours, I will respond in kind.
