Tom Swift & His Giant Telescope

Tom Swift and his Giant Telescope is the 39^th book in the Tom Swift series. The Giant Telescope book was written and published by Whitman in 1939.  The Giant Telescope is a Better Little Book.  The Better Little Books (called BLBs) are super-condensed stories that have an illustration on every page. The entire book has a page of words and a picture, followed by a page of words and another picture, and so on for 425 pages.

This is #39 in the Tom Swift series, published only as a Better Little Book. Very scarce book, selling for $300 at some book dealers. Complete, tight binding. End papers present. Clean pages; toned as usual but not brittle. Minor cover wear; intact spine, bumped corners; some light edge wear.  First Edition. Cardboard cover. Black markings inside the front cover.  Very Good condition.  Illus. by Gary, James. 4 1/2" tall.
