You are bidding on what I believe is a Millersburg "Peacock and Urn" Marigold carnival glass compote. It has six ruffles on its upper edge and the peacock and urn appear in the bowl of this compote. The peacock image holds a bee in its beak, which is why I believe it is manufactured by Millersburg (1911-1912 era). I am no carnival glass expert and so I leave it to your good judgement. This pretty compote stands 5 inches tall and has a round base that is 3 inches in diameter. There is a small chip on the underside of the base that I have tried to show in the second picture. Otherwise, it is in excellent condition. Good luck in your bidding and thank you for shopping 260sycamorespring! |
