What is Palm Desktop?: Palm Desktop lets you enter appointments, addresses, and other information on your desktop computer. Then you can transfer the information and software to your handheld using the HotSync process, What is Hotsync? Hotsync is the process of transfering data and software to a treo from a pc and from a pc to a treo . It's the fastest way to enter lots of information.

If it's not already plugged in, plug the AC charger into a wall outlet.

Plug the USB sync cable into an available USB port on the back of your computer, or a powered USB hub connected to your computer. Connect the sync cable to the Multi-connector on the bottom of your Treo with the HotSync button facing up. Do not press the HotSync button until you are instructed to do so.

Connect the charger cable to the Multi-connector on the sync cable.

Exit any applications that are currently running on your computer, including those running in the background.

Insert the Software Installation CD that came with your Treo 680 smartphone into the CD drive on your computer. (If you are installing on a Mac, double-click the CD icon on the desktop, and then double-click the PalmSoftware.pkg icon)

Follow the onscreen instructions of the installation program. During the installation process, you will be prompted to synchronize for the first time. To synchronize, press the HotSync button on the Multi-connector.
We will guarantee that these are NEW, never used. If there should be any issues upon receipt or for the next 14 days, we will replace it - NO QUESTIONS ASKED!
