In the Mood for Love also known as Fa yeung nin wa starring Maggie Cheung, Tony Leung Chiu Wai, Ping Lam Siu, Tung Cho 'Joe' Cheung, Rebecca Pan, Kelly Lai Chen and directed by Wang Kar-Wai.

The Story: A man and a woman move in to neighboring Hong Kong apartments and form a bond when they both suspect their spouses of extra-marital activities.

Comment: Chow Mo-Wan (Tony Leung) and Su Li-zhen (Maggie Cheung) move in next-door to each other within the same apartment building. He's a journalist who dreams of publishing martial-arts novels and she is a secretary at a shipping company. Their eventual coupling is obvious from the beginning but the pleasure of the film is the way that Kar-Wai ambiguously paints this journey with grand masterstrokes. It's a testament to the genius of Kar-Wai that he is capable to making such a simple tale so resonating.

New, factory sealed DVD imported from Korea with UPC 880904456261. The DVD case label is printed in Korean and English. The film has the original Chinese audio and optional English subtitles. Running time is 98 minutes, per label.
