SLS can be found in shampoo, toothpaste, shower gels, liquid soap wash and foaming facial cleansers to help create foaming and bubbles. Why Sukin Don't Use It? SLS may contribute to dryness and roughnes of the skin as well as distrubing the growth process of new hair and skin. It is know to irritate dry skin conditions such as eczema and dry skin. What Sukin Use Instead - Cocamidopropyl Beatine (Vegetable) : Derived from coconut, safe, skin-friendly cleanser for both skin and hair that effectively removes surface oil, dirt and bacteria, without stripping the skin's natural oils. 2. Parabens (methyl, proply, butyl, ethyl, isobutyl) Why Is It used? It is commonly used as a preservative in skin and hair care products, which is low cost. Why Sukin Don't Use It? Can cause allergic reactions and rashes and should be avoided. What Sukin Use Instead - Natural preservatives such as grapefruit seed extract wherever possible to ensure safety of our products.
