Antique LAKESIDE CRAFT SHOPS heavy Mission style quartersawn oak window bench. Excellent condition and fine original finish. Size: 25" wide, 18" deep, 24" tall. Five slats at each end. Solidly built. New upholstery of faux leather (really looks like old leather) over top grade high density foam is included. Unmarked...guaranteed Lakeside...compare to photo of the same form window seat from the LAKESIDE CRAFT SHOPS reproduction catalog c.1911...model number G128...matches in size and form, except the one in the catalog reprint has a cutout in the end panel below the five slats. Likely this design was "borrowed" from the classic Limbert / Mackintosh bench. This is a rare form. Nice and heavy...weighs 23 lbs. Great quartersawn flake and beautiful reddish brown finish. Very useful for many spots in the home...use in the entry or bedroom to put on / remove shoes, as a telephone bench, in front of a favorite sunny window, or as a vanity bench, etc. $49 fee to have professionally (and properly) packed. Fed Ex Ground shipping is $79. Total pro-packing and Fed Ex shipping is $128. PayPal due w/in 3 days.
