Hello and welcome to my listing!
First and foremost, I would like to send my deepest gratitude to the people (US and International) who supported me in my previous listings of my hippeastrum seed crosses and bulbs. For me, the global friendship that resulted from these ebay transactions is PRICELESS compared to the $$$ amount of the item at the end of the auction. Without your trust, I would not be here... In this listing, I will not be offering you hippeastrums. It is something different, something beautiful, something in the amaryllis family too. In my desperate search for more variegated hippeastrums, I have just decided to acquire these beautiful good quality variegated clivias. I have no plans of hybridizing them like I do with my hippeastrums. I just want to grow, enjoy and adore their lovely yellow, cream and green foliage that I do not see in the hippeastrum collection. They are a very lovely sight together with the green leafed hippeastrums in the collection. A very beautiful plant even without flowers. This listing will be my way of sharing this lovely plants to you to add to your collection. You will be bidding on the pictured beautifully variegated DARUMA Light of Buddha variegated clivia planted in a 6 inch pot (with ruler). This clivia is not a "New Arrival" as I make sure that every clivia that I list is established already and have decent healthy roots that will thrive in your gardens. This clivia is at least 2 1/2 years old with 8 beautifully variegated leaves including new leaf. The longest leaf is just 5 inches long and the widest leaf is 5 cm wide. The leaves of this clivia are thick with visible veining with very good yellow banding variegation. Pictures do not do justice to the Light of Buddha clivias. If taken outside with bright light, they look kinda "washed out " or "sun burnt" and not so pretty. In dimmer light or indoors, it shows off it's beauty as it's golden/light green bands stand out. It would not be called "LIGHT of Buddha" for nothing. It is actually one of the more beautiful variegated clivias. The listed clivia is a very compact plant with well behaved leaves. This clivia is past it's seedling age as it is growing wider leaves. This clivia will be a beautiful Daruma LOB clivia like the mature ones in the first picture. This clivia will be shipped USPS priority mail with delivery confirmation after payment is received. Payment is expected within 7 days after the listing ends unless you contact me to hold/wait. It will be sent bareroot with leaves and roots carefully wrapped. I will ship plants/bulbs Monday to Wednesday, weather permitting, to avoid shipment sitting in the post office during the weekend. These plants will be healthy and in good condition when they leave my hands and will be carefully packed to keep them as safe as possible for their shipment. If the temperature in your area during the shipping dates are unfavorable, I can hold this plant for you until you instruct me to ship them as long as it is paid after the auction. Shipping live plants can stress them and it is best that they are planted as soon as possible. I will not be responsible for their performance in your hands as we have different growing conditions and practices. I will leave feedback after you leave feedback so I would know that you received the shipment and are happy with it. Contact me for any further questions. International Buyers: I cannot provide a phytosanitary permit for plants. Please do not bid if your country requires one for this item. I will ship internationally but will not be responsible for damaged, delayed, lost or confiscated shipment. Please contact me for shipping cost and details before bidding. I am an amaryllis/hippeastrum collector/homegrower/hybridizer and not a plant nursery or bulb company. I do not sell plants/bulbs/seeds in big quantities. I am a clivia collector/homegrower. I DO NOT hybridize clivias nor grow them by the hundreds. I acquire clivia plants and seeds for my own personal pleasure and collection. This listing is my way of sharing these beautiful plants to you when I have extra ones. Whether you are a collector like me or simply love plants that are extra-ordinarily beautiful, I would highly recommend that you acquire this item at this affordable price. Please come and view the hippeastrum collection here... http://s43.photobucket.com/albums/e398/mkaea62/
Thank you for looking and happy bidding! Let's grow beautiful amaryllises!
