THE INTRO:

After 18 years with the phone company I changed careers to enter the seminary and I am auctioning off

my accumulated stuff, and some stuff for others, to pay bills, educational and otherwise.

For those of you who are regular readers – I am done with the classroom portion and now have a year of field work (vicarage). 

The latest (10/2009) is that the seminary will not place me in a vicarage until I have my debt paid down.  That could realistically be years – especially since this is my only income right now.

I’ll keep posting, you keep bidding and things will be great.

Since I am selling some things for others I may not be 100% familiar with every item listed so please ask any questions you may have on any of the items here.

In an effort to improve my shipping and handling charge rating I have eliminated handling charges altogether.  I have also added

Parcel Post as an option but that is generally only a little less expensive, and takes longer than Priority Mail.   If I could do more

to make shipping "more than reasonable" I would.

With this unit you can add special effects like split screens and cross fades to your videos while you are editing them.  Since things like VHS,

DVD, and ¾” tape are all media formats I don’t see why you could not connect DVD players/recorders to this for the same effects.  The key is that

they have line level connections (typically RCA jacks).  However, I would NOT mix format types between play and record - just to be safe.

I plugged this in and the LEDs light as they should as the controls/buttons are operated.

Beyond that no other testing have been done.

THE SHIPPING AND HANDLING:

·        Please use the shipping calculator to gauge the shipping charges.

·        I reserve the right to override the calculator should it be wrong in either direction. 

·        I reserve the right to ship this via FedEx within the USA if it works out to be less than the USPS rates. 

·        Shipping will be combined at my discretion based on the size and/or weight of the items in question. 

·        Items usually ship within two days of payment, on Monday, Wednesday or Friday.

·        I do NOT ship on the weekends. 

·        Shipping may be delayed depending on my workload.  However, I will contact the buyer if there is likely to be any sort of delay. 

INTERNATIONAL:

• Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buer’s responsibility.
• Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.”
• “These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up – do not confuse them for additional shipping charges.”

• When paying from outside of the United States via Paypal please be aware that it can take 7 days for the money to get from Paypal to me so I can pay for shipping.

Please be aware that while First Class is an option (for packages under four pounds) for international bidders it could take

more than a few weeks to get to you.  Priority mail is THE PREFERRED way to ship.

THE PAYMENT:

• There must be some manner of contact from the buyer, stating method of Payment within 3 days.
• A reminder will be sent out at 3 days and a non-paying bidder filed at 7 days unless that contact is made.
• I reserve the right to reject any bid(s) from countries that have a restriction on this type of item. I have not run into any as of yet, but there is always that chance.
• This applies if the USA restricts it going out or the destination country restricts it coming in.
