This is our basic lucet, the same as we use in our lucet classes.

Lucets were used as far back in history as the Vikings (circa 800 to 1100 AD) for making bodice and armor lacings as well as other cords for various uses. The product made using the lucet is 3 to 4 times the size and strength of the original thread used.

We make our lucets out of various hardwoods from around the world.  Each lucet is hand rubbed with oil and finished with a hand buffed paste wax, this helps to protect the wood and prolong the life of your lucet.  The majority of our wood is reclaimed.

The lucet comes with a small booklet that includes basic directions.   We also provide an online pictorial for those just getting started. This lucet will be made from assorted hardwoods. 2.375" x 6.25"

All of our lucets are natural color.  We use no paints, dyes, or stains.
