Most horses arriving at New Vocations are injured & thin, suffering normal occupational hazards of racing. Without a useful skill to offer their previous option was often a one-way ticket to the local livestock auction. New Vocations provides a safety net for these horses matching them with qualified individuals and following up on them.

Hello!  I have an unusual item up for your consideration today!  This is a pair of vintage custom-made riding breeches by MILLER'S of New York.  Made in 1966.

While they wouldn't quite pass muster in the show ring today :) ... - they would make a wonderful addition to a vintage costume collection though.  Themes could include:  riding situations (of course!); military; aviation.

The quality of detail and material is superb.  The fabric blend is nylon/rayon - with rich suede knee patches.  Hand-stitched.  Color, I would say is either a beige or sand.

While originally crafted for a woman - these could fit a man as well.

 

MEASUREMENTS:  Waist across 13";   Hip area about 20+ ... widest at 23";   Front Rise 13";   Inseam 24-25";   Center calf button area across 6";   Bottom hem 4 1/2".

CONDITION:  Great Vintage.  No holes.  Some wear marks - particularly knee area. 

Shipping/Handling is $8.50 to 48 US. Outside this area, or upgraded shipping will be recalculated and charged. Items ship within 3 business days of clearance of payment.
