This is a Jacques Henri Guyot (1941) oil painting on canvas mounted on a board signed in the
lower right. The subject is a standing matador holding a red matador's flag
with a large yellow sun in the sky behind him. It measures 34" X 18" and
the frame measures 41" X 25". Guyot is a well auctioned artist with most of his art sold
in France. It is a French Modernist who paints on panel. His paintings fetch in the thousands
at auction.
