The upgrades of computers in Noritsu Minilabs

The service of Upgrading the inside computer in Noritsu minilabs is provided in order to slow inside computers in Noritsu minilabs in relation to present size of customers picture.

The machine gets computing power which allows to work fast. 

Refers to models: QSS 2901, 3000, 3001, 3011, 3101, 3012, 3201, 3201SD, 3201SD, 3203SD, 3211, 3212, 3213, 3300, 3301, 3301SD, 3302, 3311, 3312 and others.

It's the offer for full service, it means: you order - we reach your place and do the whole job.

Instead of the old unit a new deck computer with high computing speed is installed and adopted. Additionally operating software is installed as well as all programs previously existing on the machine such e.g. Main System Software QSS, Profile Data, Digital Ice, Multi-Frame Print and others depending on the machine and purchased to it software. During service all former set-ups and configurations are restored including working parameters of the machine, LAN settings, labels, multimedia readers and optical drivers. The general assumption is to restore the prior, original environment of the machine before upgrades. The computer’s units that are disassembled from the machine i.e. main-board, processor, operating memory and hard disks remain customer’s property.

The service is conducted by NemoTECH engineers in customer’s seat; the time of service is estimated roughly 6 hours. The time and date of upgrade is adjusted according to the customer’s plant working hours and therefore does not interfere with the plant’s work. Upgrade of deck computer in these machines enables increasing several times the computing speed of minilab. The service of deck computer’s upgrade in minilab improves the machine efficacy and simultaneously increases the comfort and effectiveness of the work. Every owner is given new "Nemotech Recovery Disk". It allows technician service or owner to reinstall all software in the similar way as in the original state of machine.

2. Compact Archive Unit

The addition possible feature able to implement on 32 and 33 series of Noritsu minilab. It automatically does copies of every order made on machine with remembered fixed all corrections. The copies are stored on additional HDD disk until the end of capacity then old copies are deleted (on average for over six months). This useful feature allows to make very fast another copy of prints by finding out old order in main software by couple of criterion (time, amount of picture, channel). Another copy for example of 300 pictures is done without making correction but just by one button click. There is activated another mark for this feature in main software

3. Order Controller Software

 Additional original function allowing full management of printing orders. Having this functionality we can prepare new orders using any channel (paper magazine) during making another order (normally we can't create new order cause main software stops and informs to change the paper magazine if different). We can also suspend or stop any production and then resume it in the future. For example when we do big production of 300 pictures and there is needed to quick production of some pictures we can suspend the actual production, do the needed one and then resume the first big production. For another example when we do big production and there is end of working day we can suspend it, close down the machine and resume the order the next working day or later. There is activated another mark for this feature in main software.

4. Additional Advance Correction Software

 a. scene correction software - 9 automatic sets of correction b. tone curve correction software – advanced correction of RGB c. spot correction software – removing spots d. cross filter software – additional light effects e. soft filter software – effect of making picture more soft (for example with children) f. lens aberration software – removing aberration defects

5. Extension of Production Ability

 For models of Noritsu 3201, 3211, 3301, 3311, 3201SD and 3301SD there is possibility of changing the production ability of minilab. It means that after upgrading minilab will work faster in production for each size of picture. For example for 10"x15" size speed of production will change from 900/hour to 1200/hour. The service is not invasive in any parts of minilab.
