These high-tech silicone pads were developed from gasket material used for nuclear physics research.
The backs are made of composition cork. They can be installed like conventional pads. These high tech pads do not indent like conventional pads when seated - you may not see any indentation at all.
No conventional adhesive/cement used for normal installation will stick to the face of these pads. If any cement accidentally gets on the face it can be easily removed.
They can withstand extreme heat and moisture - perfect for marching band!
And there is no need to worry about pad mites.....they do not care for this flavor.
Enough adhesive pellets are included to install all 17 pads.

HOW TO MEASURE PADS:
You will need a ruler with millimeter marks. If you still have the old pads and they seem to fit ok your job will be easier.
Measure the outside diameter of the old pad, not the backing.
You can also measure the pad cups with the keys still on the instrument - measure the outside diameter and subtract .3mm.
If you are measuring with the keys off the instrument, with the pads removed then you measure the inside diameter of the cup and add 1.5mm.
Pad sizes run this way: 10mm, 10.5mm, 11mm, 11.5mm etc.
