The VDR-D100 Palmcorder Camcorder can record on DVD-R, DVD-RW and even DVD-RAM discs. Record over and over again on DVD-RAM discs or record something just once on DVD-R discs. You can choose whichever type of disc works best with your DVD player or recorder. Enjoy remarkable 30x zoom magnification in a camera that fits comfortably and securely in one hand. The lens also features low distortion and since the zoom is optical, it captures both moving and still pictures with exquisite beauty. The MPEG2 engine is a wide-range, high-precision search engine that produces smooth, beautiful moving pictures. Because it records the differences in each frame, it can render fast, complex motions - like those of children in the thick of the action - with exceptional precision. The MPEG2 engine also uses the Variable Bit Rate system that adopted for the high-end DIGA DVD recorder. LP (Long Play) mode now offers nearly twice the resolution of previous MPEG2 recording video cameras, giving you the best possible resolution at the longest recording times. The joystick makes the camera much easier to use, letting you control all basic operations with one hand. As you shoot, just watch the image in the monitor and follow the instruction guide. You can handle a number of operations quickly and easily, without even taking your eye off the subject.
