Bali’s talented wood carvers have created this extraordinary chess set completely by hand using only simple hand tools. Crafted with a combination of local Balinese woods of different colors, including sono, crocodile and suar woods that are meticulously  carved and inlaid to form this unique game. 

Each piece is a tribute to legends of the Hindu Parthenon including Vishnu, Saraswati, Garuda, Hanoman and Singa or temple gardians are the Pawns. An intriguing setting for a fascinating game of chess. 

And what a wonderful gift this wood make for the Chess player in your life. The board opens to form a table with legs. The inside of the chess set has a backgammon board, so you may also use this great board game for backgammon as well! The inside  forms a chamber when folded that is used for storing the chess pieces when not in use.

Combined Shipping

We offer combined shipping on many of our items. Take advantage of this great feature to save on shipping! A few items such as stone carvings do not qualify for the combined shipping option. If you are not sure if an item qualifies please contact us. We are here for you and happy to answer any questions you may have. If you plan on purchasing more than one item, just let us know and we will wait until you are done shopping to combine your invoice. All items combined must be purchased with a 7 day period. You may combine up to 5 items.

SHIPPING

 We will ship your item with in 3 days of receiving a cleared payment. In most cases we will ship the same day payment clears.  When we can, we ship USPS priority mail, cost includes confirmation/tracking number. On larger pieces we use UPS or Fed Ex as this is more cost effective for the buyer. When an item is shipped UPS or Fed Ex shipping cost will include tracking and insurance.

RETURNS

Any claims must be made with in 7 days of receiving your order. Please contact us first. Your item may be exchanged or you may opt for a refund less shipping and handling charges. Buyer is also responsible for any return shipping cost.
