Very clean end-papers with no inked writing or bookplates, just very small pencil marking on verso of ffep
Covers nice and clean with only a few small smudges to front cover and some scratching to rear cover, very minimal
172 pages, many illustrations (see photos), beautiful gilt text block
Nice and strong binding, untorn hinges, verey soundly bound with no loose pages, just very minor cocking but hardly apparent, book stands straight with very minimal leaning
Gutters just starting in a few places but nothing serious, pages nice and bright with only moderate age toning
