Wave Crest Very Large 7" Covered Box Monroe Wavecrest

My parents collected these boxes in the 1960's and 70's.  The following is my dad's description of this box:

"Wave Crest covered box. 7" dia. 4" high, spiral fluting on base, swirl on lid.  Pastel blue, enamel flowers & leaves in pink, purple, white and green over most of lid & on (2) sides of bottom.  Gold collars, bottom & hinged lid with gold collar".

This is a VERY LARGE Wave Crest box.  This is a beautiful box in really nice condition. (352)

The only issue I can see with this box is on the interior of the base.  There is a line, which looks like a crack, but has no depth (it does not go thru the case).  I do believe it is a manufacturing issue (seam) as it appears to have imbedded dark material in the seam. The line is visible only on the inside of the case (see the 9th picture).  The following picture (10th one), shows the area opposite on the outside, with no mark whatever.

I looked at this box under magnification, and except for the above information, could see no chips, cracks, damage or repair.  Hinge and clasp works as designed. See scans.
